Okay, so here's the thing. My mom and I were just minding our own business after a long day of school for me and moving boxes and stuff for her. We came home a short while ago and started taking things we didn't want down to the main floor because a charity guy is coming tomorrow to take things back. All of a sudden I here "Come out with your hands up!"
I look around, thinking 'Oh my god, are one of the neighbors in trouble???' My mom thinks pretty much the same thing, so we just go back to bringing things downstairs.
So I'm now at the main floor with a big box and I hear footsteps coming up from the basement and I think 'Oh crap, robbers!' The door opens and two police men with their guns drawn and flashlights out and everything come into the living room and I'm like 'Oh my god, how did they get in my old house?'
My mom then comes down stairs all flustered and apologetic and we realize that the back door, along with the back gate, was still open from earlier when we moved the washer and dryer.
That made my week xD I just wish I had gotten the camera and taken a picture of the policemen walking up with their guns. That would have been hilarious.
